During this experience, a specialized guide will provide insightful interpretations of the local flora and fauna throughout your journey. Additionally, they will explain the geological evolution of the area, as well as highlight key geographical and cultural landmarks.
Hiking to the Springs is on the eastern side of the San Miguel de Allende volcano: "Palo Huérfano". Depart San Miguel de Allende and travel for 20 minutes to the outskirts of the town: "Jalpa". From there, begin the climb to the Springs for a total of 4.5 miles. The return is from Jalpan to San Miguel de Allende. The climb is approximately 1,300 feet, from 6,600 feet above sea level to 7,900 feet above sea level.
